2023 Panini Select Football set to Launch

The anticipation is building for the release of the 2023 Panini Select Football set, a highly sought-after collection of chromium-styled cards that have become a fan favorite among sports card enthusiasts. Scheduled to launch this summer, just before the onset of the 2024 NFL training camps, this year’s edition is all set to make waves in the collecting world.

With a robust 500-card base set segmented into five distinct levels, ranging from the common Concourse Level to the rare Field Level, collectors can expect a variety of cards to chase after. The Concourse Level, featuring cards #1 – 100, kicks off the set as the most common, while the elusive Field Level, containing cards #401 – 500, presents the most coveted finds for collectors.

One of the standout features making a return in this year’s release is the XRC Mystery Redemption program. This program allows collectors the opportunity to snag some of the first licensed rookie cards from the upcoming 2024 NFL Draft class. These highly anticipated XRC cards will come in Silver Prizm, low-numbered variants, and even autographed formats, adding an extra layer of excitement for collectors.

In addition to the base set, the 2023 Panini Select Football set will also offer Autographs and Memorabilia cards to amp up the excitement. Look out for Jumbo Rookie Signature Swatches, Prime Selections Prizm Signatures Tie-Dye autograph memorabilia cards, and the Spectra Hall of Fame Signatures Prizm series featuring autographs from legendary players.

Fans can also expect the return of popular inserts such as Starcade, Color Wheel, and Select Anniversary, adding a touch of nostalgia and flair to this year’s collection, in line with the aesthetics of the NBA Select release.

For those looking to dive into the Hobby Box Configuration, each box will contain 5 cards per pack, 12 packs per box, and 12 boxes per case. The expected box contents include 2 autographs, 1 memorabilia card, 15 Prizm parallels, 6 inserts, and 2 Field Level base cards. Priced at around $450 per hobby box, collectors can look forward to a comprehensive package of high-value cards to add to their collections.

As collectors and NFL fans gear up for the summer release of the 2023 Panini Select Football set, the excitement is palpable. With the promise of capturing iconic moments and athletes from the upcoming NFL season, this year’s edition is poised to be a must-have for any avid collector.
